Peter was flipping through the channels a couple weeks ago and came across a basketball game. Here is their conversation:

Sam: Ooohh! Football.
Peter: No, Sam. That's basketball.
Sam: Football.
Peter: No, that's called a basketball game because they are using a basketball.
Sam: (long pause) No. Football.

Sam then walked away. I guess he's got his mind made up! Tonight as the Twins home opener was on, Sam repeatedly said "song, ball game" because he wanted to sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game (click here for ball game song post).
