Chores for Sam?
So, it goes like this....I'm in the living room, folding laundry. Sam is playing. He wanders into the kitchen, which he does often, though he usually comes back because there's not much cool to play with in there. But this time, he doesn't come back. Instead, I hear a familar sound. I rush into the kitchen to find that Sam has gone into the laundry room (I guess I left the door open), scooped out a scoop of dog food from Oscar's bag, and then put it into Oscar's dish without dropping a single morsel. Oscar was happily enjoying an extra meal. Sam was proudly standing there, watching Oscar eat, and still holding the measuring scoop. Maybe it's time to assign this to Sam as his daily chore:-)

LOST
There are few shows that Peter and I make an effort to watch. LOST gets this privilege. The season premiere is on TONIGHT! At the end of each season, out of frustration that it will be another eight to nine months before we will see another episode, we claim to not care any more about what might happen to Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locke, etc. But then the previews for the season premiere begin, and we realize that we do care, and we WILL watch.LOST - Tonight - 7 pm Central.

-17 degrees
Sam and I were going to run some errands this morning. But after waking up to a temperature of -17 degrees (that's without taking the wind chill into account), I think we'll instead find a nice indoor activity to keep us busy here at home. Brrr!

In case anyone is wondering... the afternoon has warmed up to a balmy -4 degrees:-)
